Verrit, a new media platform endorsed by Hillary Clinton that claims to represent her voters, is re-writing Hillary’s mistakes out of the 2016 election.

Verrit blames the media, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and alleged voter suppression for Clinton’s loss to Donald Trump in the 2016 election. Verrit includes no mention of Clinton’s many unforced errors throughout the campaign, such as her decision to skip campaigning in Wisconsin during the general election, or when she referred to Trump supporters as a “basket of deplorables.” (RELATED: Robby Mook Finally Admits Hillary’s ‘Deplorables’ Comment Alienated Voters [VIDEO])

Former Clinton adviser Peter Daou quietly launched Verrit earlier this summer, but it flew under the radar until Clinton endorsed it on Sunday night, calling it a “a media platform for the 65.8 million!” The website appears to be a project months in the making: Verrit LLC was registered in December, as many on the left struggled to come to terms with the idea of a Trump presidency.

One recent Verrit post, authored by Daou, accuses Sanders and the “mainstream media” of helping “put Trump in the White House.”

Another post claims the media was disproportionately focused on the Clinton email scandal.

“Mainstream pundits invariably and incorrectly blame Democrats’ message (or supposed lack thereof) for the party’s electoral losses,” Daou states in another post, before offering three alternative scapegoats for the party’s failures: “gerrymandering, voter suppression, and the brutal efficacy of the rightwing media machine.”

Verrit ignores Clinton’s decision to skip campaigning in Wisconsin. (RELATED: A Year After The Election, Hillary Will Finally Visit Wisconsin)

He similarly ignores the subject of coal entirely, including Clinton’s statement in March 2016 that: “We’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”

Also left out: when Clinton dismissed Trump voters as a “basket of deplorables.”

The narrative Daou is pushing through his Clinton-endorsed website is consistent with Clinton’s insistence on blaming her loss on external factors. (RELATED: Here Are The 18 Things Hillary Blames For Her Election Defeat)
