A video has recently surfaced of Conor McGregor moments after his crushing loss to Floyd Mayweather, and it’s a tearjerker.

McGregor sat in a locker room, draped in an Irish flag, and emotionally told UFC president Dana White, “I’m sorry.”

Of course, White didn’t accept the apologies of the Irish-born superstar. He simply responded with, “Sorry? Dude, I’m ecstatic. Very f*cking badass, dude.”

Say whatever you want about Conor McGregor, but that video is proof to me this guy has the heart of a champion. The man goes 10 rounds with arguably the greatest boxer to ever live, leaves it all in the ring and apologizes to his boss when he couldn’t get it done.

You can beat the man in the ring, but you can’t break his spirit. The man loses a fight in front of the entire nation and all he’s concerned about is whether or not he let down the UFC. That’s the kind of man I want in my corner when our backs are against the wall. That guy is a winner, and there’s no other way to put it.
