The Venice Film Festival has been taking place for the past two weeks in Venice, Italy and the looks have been absolutely stunning. Everyone has been coming out to the annual festival to celebrate some of the best films that have just been released.
In July, actress Annette Bening was named as the jury president for the festival. According to Deadline, Bening said, “I’m honored to be asked to serve as the President of the jury for this year’s Venice Film Festival. I look forward to seeing the movies and working with my fellow jury members to celebrate the best of this year’s cinema from all over the world.”
Jennifer Lawrence was spotted at the festival to celebrate the release of her new thriller ‘Mother!’ with Michelle Pfieffer and Javier Bardem.
The opening film at the festival was ‘Downsizing’, with Matt Damon and will be released in theaters in December. According to the IMDB page this film is about, “A social satire in which a guy realizes he would have a better life if he were to shrink himself.” It might sound a bit odd, but you never know until you watch.
