President Trump took several weekend trips to his home in Florida, Mar a Lago, during the first several months of the presidency, but has since made several visits to Camp David. Prior to taking office, Trump said, “Camp David is very rustic, it’s nice, you’d like it.”

“You know how long you’d like it? For about 30 minutes,” Trump added. After his first visit in June, Trump tweeted, “Camp David is a very special place. An honor to have spent the weekend there. Military runs it so well and are so proud of what they do!”
