Pregnant Teenager Miraculously Survives Two Bullet Wounds In Head

A five-months pregnant woman miraculously survived two bullet wounds to the head Sunday.

Tytianna Sparks, 19, was conscious in the hospital despite the horrific attack, the New York Post reported. Sparks was shot outside her house around 12:45 p.m. EST in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Sparks’ family believes the bullets were stray.”No, she wasn’t [targeted],” said Corinne Sparks, Tytianna Sparks’ sister. She urged her sister’s shooter to “just come forward” and confess, according to the New York Post.

Sparks’ was brought to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition, according to the Emergency Medical Services. Police say the young woman is also expected to survive, according to  PIX11.

“She is alright. She is in surgery right now” in order to remove the bullets from her head, added Corinne. The surgery will entail doctor’s cutting open the side of Sparks’ skull to remove the bullets.

“Everything is good with the baby,” added Corinne to the New York Post.

There was not a specific motive for the shootings, said authorities, the alleged shooter who fled the police was wearing a black shirt and gray sweatpants.
