In the 2004 draft, the Browns passed up Ben Roethlisberger, who was eventually drafted by the Steelers. The Browns drafted tight end Kellen Winslow instead, who played for them for four years and had one season with 1,000 yards.

In the season opener on Sunday the Steelers played the Browns and not so surprisingly won 21-18. This had made Ben Roethlisberger the winningest quarterback in Cleveland since the team came back to the NFL in 1999.

The Browns started rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer, who became the 27th quarterback to start for the team since the 1999 return and hopes to become the solution to the Browns unfortunate quarterback situation.

Roethlisberger has 436 completions, 5,753 passing yards, and 37 touchdown passes against the Browns, according to post-gazzette.com.

Throughout his career, Roethlisberger has 11 wins in Cleveland and has a 21-2 record in the regular season against the Browns.

The 11 victories are one more than Derek Anderson, who played for the Browns from 2005 until 2009.
