President Trump’s nickname of “Rocket Man” for North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un might be way too complementary.

Early Sunday morning Trump tweeted, “I spoke with President Moon of South Korea last night. Asked him how Rocket Man is doing. Long gas lines forming in North Korea. Too bad!”

I have to admit, I’m not exactly sold on this nickname for the murderous dictator. I loved “Crooked Hillary” and “Lyin’ Ted.” Both are outstanding nicknames because there’s no doubt they’re insults.

However, when I hear “Rocket Man” I’m inclined to initially believe he’s talking about somebody really cool. Let’s not forget, the Jennifer Connelly and Timothy Dalton movie “Rocketeer” was pretty awesome.

If there was a kid in my neighborhood known as the “Rocket Man” when I was growing up, I can guarantee you I would have been hanging out with that kid and building rockets all the time. We’d be firing missiles everyday. What dude wouldn’t want to participate? “Rocket Man” just has way too many positive qualities attached to the term.

He should have gone with “Chubby Dwarf” instead. Can you imagine what Twitter would look right now if Trump had tweeted, “I spoke with President Moon of South Korea last night. Asked him how the Chubby Dwarf is doing. Long gas lines forming in North Korea. Too bad!”

It would have been pure electricity. Unfortunately, I think I have to give Trump’s nickname for Kim Jong-Un a thumbs down. Hopefully he goes back to the drawing board and comes back with something a little more entertaining.
