A panelist on “MSNBC Live” Sunday claimed that President Trump tweeting a fake GIF of Hillary Clinton getting hit with a golf ball is “encouraging violence.”

Alexi McCammond, Axios’ deputy news director, said, “It’s just ridiculous!”

“It’s encouraging violence against his political rivals, which is certainly not something the president should be doing,” McCammond said, adding, “But yeah, I mean, it is a little surprising that he hasn’t been tweeting more about Clinton, but I think this tweet today was so egregious, it made up for the lack of tweets that he sent in the past few weeks.”
