Former Reddit CEO Ellen Pao said Monday that Twitter should ban President Donald Trump.

“I think [Twitter] should ban Donald Trump,” Pao said in an interview with Bloomberg Technology. “I think that’s a huge problem that he has this behavior that’s very counter to the terms of service, and yet he continues to be given this huge platform to dominate and to encourage more of the same bad behavior.”

“[Trump] is harassing of people, he threatens people on the platform, and then he uses his influence to get people to harass other people on the platform,” Pao added.

Pao suggested that diversifying leadership of social media companies would allow them to remove objectionable content and people from the platform more quickly.

“We saw on Reddit, when you allow free speech, it’s the people who are dominant on the platform, who can bully everybody else off,” said Pao, comparing censorship of certain speech to removing spam.

Pao resigned in July 2015 from her position as interim CEO at Reddit, a week after the company’s firing of Victoria Taylor, former director of talent, prompted the massive shutdown of various parts of the site in protest. The Daily Caller News Foundation reached out to Pao for further comment, but received none in time for publication.
