A 2007 video shows Michelle Obama speaking to a group of women voters, attacking Hillary Clinton as unfit for the presidency for not being able “to run her own house.”

“One of the things, the important aspects of this race, is role modeling what good families should look like. And my view is that if you can’t run your own house, you certainly can’t run the White House. You can’t do it.”

The remarks were made in August 2007 at a “women for Obama” event during the Democratic primary race for the 2008 election. At the time, then Senator Barack Obama was facing Clinton for the Democratic nomination.

Michelle Obama recently made headlines for criticizing women who voted for Donald Trump in 2016.

“Any woman who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their own voice,” she said.

“It doesn’t say much about Hillary, and everybody’s trying to worry about what it means for Hillary and no, no, no what does this mean for us as women?”

“That we look at those two candidates, as women, and many of us said, ‘He’s better for me. His voice is more true to me.’ To me that just says, you don’t like your voice. You just like the thing you’re told to like.” the former first lady stated.
