CNN’s Ana Navarro attacked President Trump Saturday for criticizing the Puerto Rican government’s response to federal relief efforts.
Navarro said, “The fact that he is attacking — the fact he’s the President of the United States and should be uniting people. His focus should be on how to help the 3.5 million American citizens who live in Puerto Rico and are in great distress. Second of all, do you realize he’s doing these attacks while sitting at his golf course, at his gold inlaid golf course in New Jersey and people are wading through water up to their waist, and they can’t feed their children.”
She continued, “From his golf course he’s got the gall to pick up his Twitter and criticize the people in Puerto Rico and say they want everything done for them. How dare he. How dare he wage that kind of attack on those people, those American citizens in the middle of this stress.”
Trump criticized the news media and San Juan mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz Saturday for wanting, “everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort.” (RELATED: Trump Attacks Media, Democrats And Mayor During Hurricane Relief Effort)
