Lena Dunham claims that there is “no way not to politicize” the Las Vegas massacre that left more than 50 people dead and hundreds of others injured.

“No way not to politicize this tragedy,” the 31-year-old “Girls” actress and Hillary Clinton supporter shared on Twitter Monday night. (RELATED: Celebrities Attack Trump After Vegas Massacre, Demand Gun Restrictions)

“It’s about gender & race as well as access to guns. Considering it random is comforting & dangerous,” she added.

Later, poet Alex Dimitrov responded to her tweet suggesting that it was also about “capitalism.” She agreed and tweeted in response, “Yes.”

She was not the only celebrity who got political after the shooting. Clay Aiken tweeted that “Anyone who says ‘don’t politicize a tragedy’ over the next few days is only saying so b/c they know their position is untenable.”

Lady Gaga tweeted that prayers were important, but “blood is on the hands of those who have power to legislate,” as she mentioned House Speaker Paul Ryan and President Donald Trump.
