NBC News reports that Stephen Paddock, the alleged Las Vegas shooter, was gambling with over 100,000 in recent weeks.

Paddock reportedly, “gambled with at least $160,000 in the past several weeks at Las Vegas casinos.”

It is not known if he won or lost during his transactions. According to several reports, Paddock was a professional gambler and made his living off of it. He was quite wealthy, reportedly being worth around $2 million.

This news comes on the heels of news that Paddock, a 64-year-old white male, transferred $100,000 to an account in the Philippines last week. (RELATED: Shooter Wired $100,000 To Philippines The Week Before Massacre)

Paddock’s roommate, Marilou Danley, was in the Philippines at the time of the shooting.

The Islamic State has repeatedly taken responsibility for the attacks, although federal law enforcement maintains there is no evidence of that being true. ISIS has previously falsely claimed other Islamic terror attacks. However, ISIS has never claimed a non-Islamic terror attack.
