The UFC and president Dana White will open their check books and donate a massive chunk of money to the victims of the Las Vegas strip massacre.

“What we’re going to do is donate a million dollars to the people, to the families and the people who are affected by this,” White told TMZ Sports during an interview following the bloody aftermath in Las Vegas.

It’s often in the aftermath of such tragedies that we’re reminded how selfless Americans really are when people need help. White doesn’t have to donate anything, or he could donate a little. Instead, his organization is putting down a million dollars.

The UFC isn’t the only organization putting up big money for the victims of the Las Vegas massacre. The Oakland Raiders, who will be moving to Las Vegas, donated $50,000 to a GoFundMe account for the victims.

There’s no doubt more and more high rollers will join forces to continue raising lots of money for those who need it most.
