It’s Thursday, and that means it’s time to break down some gambling picks for college football this weekend.

My gambling picks are currently sitting at 11-14. We’re in a slight hole, but I’m hardly worried because we’re not losing a game this weekend.

Here are the five games that I think are locks.

1) Penn State (-14.5) vs. Northwestern:

The Wildcats looked pretty solid last week against Wisconsin, but don’t expect that to be a repeat event. The Nittany Lions are going to obliterate them.

2) Miami (-3) vs. Florida State:

It’s a shame that FSU won’t be any good this year, but it’s where we’re left sitting. I expect the Hurricanes to make easy work of the Seminoles.

3) Notre Dame (-14) vs. North Carolina:

The Tar Heels are not a good team, and somebody with substantial knowledge of the program has confidently told me they won’t be good for at least another year. Notre Dame, on the other hand, has been very impressive so far this year. Take the Irish.

4) Florida (-3.5) vs. LSU:

This feels like just stealing money. No chance LSU keeps this game close. The Gators are going to roll.

5) Alabama vs. Texas A&M (+26.5):

The Aggies have been a bit of a pleasant surprise this season. They won’t win this game, but home field advantage and a bit of confidence should keep this game within 27 points.
