Marilou Danley, the reported girlfriend of Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock, returned to the United States late Tuesday night.

Federal agents were waiting for her when she landed at Los Angeles International Airport.

Danley is currently a “person of interest” in the investigation into the shooting. Paddock, her boyfriend, is the suspected shooter that claimed over 50 lives and caused over 500 injuries in Las Vegas Sunday. (RELATED: BREAKING: Las Vegas Shooter’s Girlfriend Is Now Person Of Interest)

She is an Australian citizen of Filipino origin. Danley lived and worked in the United States for many years, and dated Paddock after getting to know him from a casino she worked at. Paddock was a professional gambler who was worth millions of dollars.

There is still no known motive or ideological bent to Paddock’s actions. The Islamic State has repeatedly claimed responsibility for the shooting, but there is no evidence to support that claim at the moment. One Clark country sheriff openly wondered if the Las Vegas shooter was “radicalized” Tuesday, but there is still no evidence to indicate that being the case. The shooter wired $100,000 to an account in the Philippines before he carried out the massacre. Danley was in the Philippines during the shooting.

According to several reports, Paddock lived a relatively lonely life, not even speaking on a regular basis to his own brother that he did business with. The only person who had sustained contact with Paddock is Danley.
