Adrian Peterson has been shipped out of New Orleans and is headed to the Arizona Cardinals.
ESPN reporter Dianna Russini broke the big news Tuesday afternoon when she tweeted, “Trade! The New Orleans Saints have traded Adrian Peterson to the Arizona Cardinals for a conditional pick per sources.”

The Peterson experiment in New Orleans had been a complete disaster through the first five weeks of the season. It was difficult at times to understand why he would ever agree to sign with a team if he would only get a couple carries a game.

It suggest that he was possibly misled on what type of role he would have with the team. We’ll now have to all wait and see whether or not he can turn his season around with a little change in scenery.
