President Donald Trump and Eminem were once on friendly terms, with Trump “endorsing” him for president during a 2004 MTV skit.

The 2004 skit featured Trump giving a mock endorsement speech as part of an event to celebrate the introduction of the rapper’s radio satellite channel.

“I know a winner when I see one. And Donald Trump is telling you, right now, Slim Shady is a winner. He’s got brains, he’s got guts and he’s got Donald Trump’s vote,” Trump said to a round of applause. “Ladies and gentleman, our great candidate: Slim Shady!”

The rapper released a video for the BET Awards Tuesday night in which he blasted Trump for racism and his recent handling of the National Football League protests. In the four-minute verse, Eminem called Trump “orange” and voiced support for football player Colin Kaepernick.

“And any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his, I’m drawing in the sand a line, you’re either for or against, and if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split on who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for it for you with this. F— you,” Eminem rapped.
