A new report from Vanity Fair claims that President Trump recently vented to his security chief about his hatred for those who work in the White House.

The Vanity Fair report states, “According to two sources familiar with the conversation, Trump vented to his longtime security chief, Keith Schiller, ‘I hate everyone in the White House! There are a few exceptions, but I hate them!’ Two senior Republican officials said Chief of Staff John Kelly is miserable in his job and is remaining out of a sense of duty to keep Trump from making some sort of disastrous decision.”

A White House official denied the report.

The article also claims Trump is “increasingly unfocused and consumed by dark moods.” A White House official quoted in the story claimed otherwise, saying, “The President’s mood is good and his outlook on the agenda is very positive.”

Several key White House staffers have left since Trump took office in January. Press Secretary Sean Spicer, Chief White House strategist Steve Bannon, and National Security Advisor Mike Flynn have all left.

Chief of Staff John Kelly has been trying to manage the Trump White House, regulating who can come into the Oval Office and filtering the daily news reports that Trump reads. (RELATED: Report: Kelly Is Hiding Daily Caller Stories From Trump)

Trump has also distanced himself from Republican leadership, making headlines in September for taking meetings with Democrats Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi to make a deal to preserve DACA. (RELATED: Report: Kelly Is Blocking Negative Amnesty Coverage From Trump)
