Actor Tom Arnold took some time to discuss the National Football League anthem protests, ridiculing President Trump the entire way.

The former host of CMT’s My Big Redneck Vacation and voice of Arby’s oven mitt character claims Trump doesn’t really care about national anthem protests. Instead, he says the president has a personal vendetta with the NFL, because he was never given the opportunity to become a team owner.

“He’s mad because they wouldn’t give him a franchise. He wanted to buy into it. He actually had a chance to buy the Dallas Cowboys for $50 million. It’s worth $4 billion now. Shows you how good of a business man he is. They wouldn’t let him do it. He holds a resentment – that guy,” the actor told TMZ Sports.

Arnold even took the time to bash the president’s supporters.

“It’s ridiculous. He’s pitted his core fan base, who are like a cult. Morons. They’ll believe anything he says.”

Safe to say Trump probably won’t be getting Arnold’s vote in 2020.
