Former White House deputy Sebastian Gorka claimed President Donald Trump has no special loyalty to the GOP Tuesday on “Fox and Friends,” and said Trump’s mission is to “Make America Great Again,” not to “Make The GOP Great Again.”

“Remember the president’s platform was ‘Make America Great Again,’ not ‘Make The GOP Great Again.’ And he’ll work with anybody,” Gorka said. “If you don’t want to work with him GOP, remember that dinner with Chuck and Nancy? That’s a message. That’s a broadside to the GOP. I’ve got to get things done. You don’t want to help me, I’ll talk to somebody else.”

Gorka said Trump is holding Republicans accountable by calling them out for years of failed campaign promises.

“This president came on an agenda. November the eighth was a clear message to the RINO [Republican in name only] establishment that you can’t get elected on an agenda, come to DC, and then renege on it. And then not come through with all the things you’ve promised. So it’s time to rattle those cages a little bit,” he said.

Gorka believes Trump was elected because he was an “outsider” and warned Republicans to get behind him, or “get out of the way.”

“This president was the outsider. He wasn’t part of the GOP establishment, and there’s a reason a man who never held public office is now the president of the United States,” Gorka said. “This is a guy who breaks the mold. You can’t judge this president by prior political trends or categories because he’s here to get stuff done. Get on board, or get out of the way.”
