Five people were shot at a business park in Edgewood, Maryland a deputy with the Harford County sheriff’s office told CNN Wednesday morning.
The shooter left the scene and no suspects have yet been arrested, according to the deputy. Multiple injuries have been reported and several schools around the area have been placed on lockdown.
“I can confirm that we are on the scene of the shooting in the 2100 block of Emmorton Park Road,” Kyle Andersen, spokesman for the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, told The Baltimore Sun.
At least two patients from the shooting scene are in critical condition and have been taken to the University of Maryland’s hospital, medical officials said Wednesday morning.
