Las Vegas is still healing from the Oct. 1 shooting that resulted in the death of 58 people and injured hundreds more.

The shooting took place at the Route 91 Harvest music festival; the shooter fired from a suite in the Vegas Mandalay Bay, which is owned by the prestigious MGM Resorts. Just over two weeks after the tragedy, MGM released a commercial to remind everyone that not even the biggest mass shooting in American history can take away the spirit of Las Vegas.

The 30-second spot shows brief glimpses of some of Las Vegas’ most famous attractions while “This Little Light Of Mine” plays in the background.

The ad promotes a message of unity and strength, but above all else it serves as a reminder that we can’t let evil destroy the good in this world. Together we can rise up and shine a light in the eyes of the darkness.
