Anti-Trump conservative Bill Kristol claimed on MSNBC Monday that Republicans on the “Bannon side” want to roll America back by “50, 60, or 70 years.”

Kristol said, “Voters would like to vote for someone they agree with, or they believe in, who has policies that will help them. He continued, “McConnell’s fighting back a little bit, but you gotta fight back on issues–do you want free trade Republicans or protectionist Republicans, do you want Republicans who accept the 21st century or Republicans who want to roll everything back 50, 60, or 70 years, do you want someone who believes in America’s role in the world or not?”
