Do you monitor your blood pressure? You should. It is very important to keep track of your health so you can go to the doctor at the first sign of something wrong. If you don’t already have a blood pressure monitor around your house, here is one you should check out. Not only does it provide quick and accurate measurements of systolic and diastolic blood pressure and pulse, but it actually stores the data so you can keep track of your rates over time. (It can store the data for two users!) It can store up to 90 different readings per user (so 180 total) and can present each reading with the date and time.
I have a high stress job and have been having moments recently where I feel faint and lightheaded. But by the time the feeling passes and I call my doctor, my vitals are back to normal. I am not a nurse and have no idea how to use the classic blood pressure monitor, so I found this to use during my spells to try and figure out if my blood pressure is causing the problem.
Out of the box, I had a reading in under 30 seconds (it was normal, thankfully). I don’t have a way to prove it’s accurate, but it was the normal pressure that I get at a doctor’s office when I’m feeling fine so I believe it is correct. I really like the memory feature so I can keep track of the readings to take to my doctor if need be. It also comes in a nice case for storage that easily fits in the console of my car. Luckily, I haven’t an episode since I received this, but a surprise Hurricane is now headed our way so I have a feeling I will be using this a few times in the coming days! I think this is a great addition to a home health/safety kit and I’m glad I got it.
I have had high blood pressure ever since I had my baby, and my doctor instructed me to buy a home blood pressure monitor so I can track it.
The blood pressure machine is made of heavy duty, high-quality plastic. It takes four AA batteries (not included in this purchase). It measures systolic and diastolic blood pressure, as well as a pulse (heart rate) reading. It has an LCD screen with very large, easy-to-read numbers. It stores previous blood pressure readings for up to two people (great for both my husband and I!), and the cuff is easily adjustable for a small or large arm. The cuff is also inscribed with a diagram for correct placement on your arm. This is great for quick reference on exactly where to place the cuff for a correct and accurate blood pressure reading!
Excellent, compact and portable monitor for super quick, accurate blood pressure readings!
All the reviewers drive home the point that it is very easy to use. That, plus the readings are accurate. Feel free to take a look at what all the other customers said. You’ll see those themes over and over again.
