Harvey Weinstein is in big trouble over in England.
The disgraced Hollywood mogul is being investigated for no fewer than 11 sexual assaults. TMZ reported the following details:
Harvey Weinstein is on Scotland Yard’s radar now as cops investigate at least 11 sexual assaults he allegedly committed in London.
The police investigation, reportedly dubbed Operation Kaguyak, is looking into assaults alleged to have occurred between the 1980s and 2014. At least 2 actresses have gone public with accusations Weinstein raped them in London homes and hotels.
Hopefully justice is swift if the allegations against Weinstein prove to be true. He has denied all the accusations against him, but I don’t think we’re even close to this whole thing being over.
The New York attorney general’s office has also opened an investigation into allegations Weinstein and The Weinstein Company. A subpoena has been issued to gather documents that might reveal sexual harassment or discrimination. The NYPD has also been instructed to locate and find potential victims of Weinstein, especially one related to an alleged 2004 assault. He will be subject to arrest if investigation into the alleged 2004 incident turns up enough prosecutable evidence.
If the investigation turns up something criminal, there is no chance he ever bounces back from any of this.
