A non-contact ACL tear is one of the scariest injuries in all of sports, and an ACL injury at this point in the season means there’s no chance he’s getting back on the field.
What a horrible day for the Texans organization. Watson was playing some incredible football this year, and looked like he was a lock for rookie of the year. Now he won’t even play another down this season. There are a lot of great things about sports, but watching guys like Watson go down is certainly not one of them.
Hopefully he bounces back.
