MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle had an awkward moment on “MSNBC Live With Velshi and Ruhle” Thursday when she didn’t realize she was on live television.

Ruhle was still adjusting herself when footage went live from the studio.

She said, “If there’s a voice in the ear I can’t hear it…”

“You’re live on TV,” co-host Ali Velshi said.

“We are?” Ruhle asked. “Yeah. Look at the time… you don’t hear anything from anybody?” Velshi said.

“I don’t hear anything. Except the voices in my head always,” Ruhle responded. (RELATED: 16 Photos That Prove Stephanie Ruhle’s Instagram Is A Sight To See [SLIDESHOW])

Finally, the two hosts got it together and began the show.

Velshi said, “Let’s start.”

“Okay. Good morning. I’m Stephanie Ruhle,” she said.

Ruhle also said Thursday that companies big or small don’t really need a tax cut, and that focusing on regulation is more important. (RELATED: Ruhle: Businesses Don’t Need A Tax Cut [VIDEO])
