The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Luke Rosiak broke down the relationships between reporters, Democrats, and Fusion GPS in a Thursday interview.

Rosiak explained that Fusion GPS, the firm that put out the Trump dossier, is made up of former reporters who are well-connected in the media industry.

“They’re people who have gone through the revolving door, they’re former reporters,” Rosiak said. “And so they monetize that and they get rich by convincing reporters to do stories that they otherwise wouldn’t have done.”

“It’s not a research firm, it’s an influence firm,” he asserted.

Rosiak noted that Democrats paid Fusion GPS a million dollars to create the dossier but only gave $160,000 of that to ex-British agent Christopher Steele, indicating that “it’s not about the content, it’s about milking your relationship with reporters.”

Rosiak also touched on the indictment of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, and argued that Tony Podesta, who is reportedly under investigation, is actually a much bigger fish.

“Tony Podesta is at the core of the Democratic establishment…so if he’s involved in this same kind of thing representing this pro-Russian, Ukrainian leader, it’s really an indictment of what’s come of the mainstream Democratic Party,” he concluded.
