USC superstar quarterback Sam Darnold will consider staying in school to avoid being drafted by the Cleveland Browns, according to multiple reports.
USC source says Darnold is unlikely to leave this year.
.@AlbertBreer on @BullandFox: USC QB Sam Darnold is “going to take everything into account and that includes who’s at the top of the draft”

Nothing more, nothing less. Smart kid with good people around him. https://t.co/kGdHquwf2m

Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson & to a lesser degree Josh Rosen your viable QBs.

Per @AlbertBreer, Sam Darnold will want to wait and see who has the top pick or two in the NFL Draft. If it’s Browns, he could stay at USC.

This is what is commonly referred to as a genius move. Cleveland is a graveyard for quarterbacks. Just ask the last couple dozen who have put on a Browns uniform, and take a hard look at where their careers ended up. Hint: it didn’t go well.
They even managed to destroy Johnny Manziel’s generational talent. The organization’s ability to break careers in itself is probably the most impressive thing about the Browns. If I were Darnold, I would avoid going to the Browns at all costs.
Don’t even show up if they draft you. He should demand a trade immediately and not change anything until it’s a done deal.
Good for Darnold. The Browns will just had his name to a long list of quarterbacks they wrecked.
