Buffalo Bills star offensive tackle Richie Incognito made it clear he’s not a fan of football games on Thursday nights after his loss to the New York Jets.

“They suck. They throw a wrench in our schedule. It’s absolutely ridiculous that we have to do this. As physical as this game is, as much work and preparation that goes into this, to force us to play games on four-day weeks, it’s completely unfair and bullsh*t. The league makes money off it, and that’s all they care about anyway,” he told the media after he stomped all over the field.

Football is a very violent game. There’s no question about that, and it’s borderline criminal the players who play games on Thursday nights only have a couple days for their bodies to recover. It’s not hard to understand at all why players would be upset. It’s hard for players to recover when they have a whole week to recover. Ding several days off of the recovery schedule, and there’s nothing good that’s going to come from it.

Add in the fact most TNF games are awful match ups, I wouldn’t be shocked if these things get canceled relatively soon. There might be a revolt in the league if they’re not.
