Legendary director Quentin Tarantino reportedly has a completed script about Charles Manson, and he is trying to get Leonardo DiCaprio involved.

Den of Geek brought the following details on the situation:

With the screenplay now apparently complete, Tarantino is looking for a new studio to back the project. Apparently, only the R-rated-resistant Disney is not being offered the film.

One person who is set to be offered the film is Leonardo DiCaprio, who previously starred for Tarantino in Django Unchained. A role has reportedly being written for the actor, and parts are also being earmarked for Brad Pitt and Samuel L Jackson, should they want them. None of them have signed on the dotted line as of yet.

This movie sounds incredible. I don’t know any details other than the ones previously mention, and the reports Margot Robbie might be murder victim Sharon Tate. The Manson cult is one of the most infamous and horrifying things in America over the past century.

The killing of Tate sent shockwaves through the entire country. If there’s any director capable of bringing this horrific story to the big screen it’s Quentin Tarantino.
