An Atlanta high school teacher threatened to put a bullet in a student’s head, in a video posted by the teen’s mom on Facebook Monday.

“You screw with me you’re going to be in big ass trouble. Don’t smile at me, man. That’s how people like you get shot,” eleventh-grade physics teacher Paul Hagan told the teenage boy. “I got a bet. I bet by the time you’re 21 somebody’s going to put a bullet in your head. OK. And it might be me the one who does it.”

Hagan allegedly threatened the teenage boy after he and other students were caught laughing, reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The boy’s mother was notified about the incident last week and posted the video on her Facebook page. Now, Carr is trying to collect signatures asking the teacher to be fired.

The teacher allegedly apologized to the students later. However, Carr still wants “justice” to be served by having him fired and charges filed.

“I think it’s a terroristic threat on my son’s life,” Carr told WSB-TV 2 Atlanta .
