Terry Crews filed a police report on Wednesday regarding an alleged sexual assault which he revealed on Twitter about a month ago, according to a report by TMZ.

The “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” actor opened up about his experience with sexual assault in a series of tweets after the Harvey Weinstein reports broke, claiming an unnamed Hollywood executive once “groped” his privates. (RELATED: Terry Crews Comes Forward With Sexual Assault Allegations)

Crews filed a report at a Los Angeles Police Department station on Wednesday and since the alleged incident occurred last year, it is within the statute of limitations in the state of California and could lead to a criminal investigation.

“This whole thing with Harvey Weinstein is giving me PTSD. Why? Because this kind of thing happened to ME,” Crews revealed on Twitter a month ago. “My wife n I were at a Hollywood function last year n a high level Hollywood executive came over 2 me and groped my privates.”

Crews claimed that he would have “kicked his a** right then” but thought nobody would have believed him and he would end up in jail. So he left and kept quiet until the Weinstein story broke and has now decided to follow-up on the alleged incident from last year.
