CNN spent a full two minutes Wednesday night on a story about a dog’s ear that kind of looks like President Donald Trump.

On “Erin Burnett’s Out Front,” CNN national correspondent Jeanne Moos explained that the dog, who lives in Great Britain, has an ear infection that is making its ear look like Trump. They even held a skype interview with the dog and his owner, Jade Robinson.
“A dog named Chief has an ear that looks like Trump’s face,” one shockingly important chyron read.
Moos read several tweets and showed videos of people reacting to the dog’s ear and noted that Robinson started a crowd funding campaign to pay for treatment for Chief’s ear. The campaign passed its goal of $600.
“As for Chief, his ears are improving with treatment,” Moos told viewers. “Until then, he’s got the ear of the president–hail to this Chief!”
