Kyrie Irving made the most of military appreciation night in Brooklyn on Tuesday night and showed his respect to the veterans in attendance at the Boston Celtics game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Irving led the Celtics to a 109-102 win over the Nets last night with 25 points of his own, but the most impressive thing the point guard did was his selfless act after the game. Immediately following the Celtics 13th win in a row, Irving turned to the stands to recognize the men and women in uniform sitting courtside.

The Celtics star removed his jersey and shoes and walked over to a group of veterans to give them his game-worn gear and shook each of their hands thanking them for their service before going to join his team in the locker room.

It was a classy move by a classy player, who is so well-respected around the league he received MVP chants at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn last night. With that selfless gesture, he deserved them.
