A father bumped into his abducted son at the mall nine months after the son went missing; video footage shows the encounter from February that led to jail time for the kidnappers.

Cheng Zhonghong saw his son Cheng Jiafu accompanied by three alleged human traffickers while at a shopping mall Qingxin Town Plaza, reported The Daily Mail on Thursday. Jiafu was abducted May 27, 2016, and Zhonghong ran into his son February 21, 2017.

Zhonghong grabbed his son and called the police. A trial was held at the Qingxin People’s Court Nov. 10 and three abductors (Chen, Li, and Ou) each received prison sentences for the child abduction. Authorities charged Ou with intent to sell children to other families.

Li received three-year prison time, Chen received two years and Ou received six years, reported Qingxin News.
