Auburn football coach Gus Malzahn is being floated as a replacement for Arkansas football coach Bret Bielema.
Several different reports have indicated that Malzahn’s name appears to be near the top of the list for the Hogs when they finally make the decision to cut Bielema loose.
Have heard there’s been lots of push among #Arkansas BOT folks on the HC front. Some big money ppl driving for Gus Malzahn. Pretty messy there & Jeff Long got swept under in it.

I have to feel for Bielema. It can’t be fun hearing about your replacement being picked without even being fired first. That has to suck. Oh well, too bad for Bielema.
I’m just going to sit over hear and cry all day because I feel so bad. At least it seems like mercy is on the horizon for Bielema. That’s all you can ask for in the cruel world of college basketball. The good news for him is that I’m currently hiring for interns. A former SEC football coach might not be the worst addition to the office.
