Out of the most foolish take in the media today, “Today In Media” tackles the top five with Saagar Enjeti and Julia Nista.

Watch:

Among the outrageous media takes Fridday, Joy Reid tweeted that Donald Trump is defining the current American age as one rife with misogyny.

Major media networks finally covered Sen. Bob Menendez’ trial at the most convenient time to him. The senator faced 18 charges, including bribery, conspiracy, and honest services fraud. More than two months later, major networks hardly covered the fact that the Menendez’ trial ended as a mistrial.

Along the same lines as Joy Reid, Joy Behar attempted to conflate recent sexual misconduct allegations against Senator Al Franken with Donald Trump.

“It’s a case by case basis, and we’re talking about Franken right now, where is the relevancy to Trump in that instance,” Nista commented.

“I think Meghan has the best point right there which is she of all people has a beef with President Trump who has attacked her father repeatedly, but the point is is that this isn’t about him,” Enjeti commented.

Among the other foolish media takes of the day include feminist author Kate Harding excusing Al Franken for his sexual misconduct because of his Democratic political affiliation, and MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt portraying Franken’s sexual misconduct lightly.

Who will make the top five craziest media takes of the day next time? Find out on the next episode of “Today In Media”!
