Our College Football Gambling This Weekend Wasn’t Outstanding

We didn’t exactly have the greatest weekend of gambling on college football.

My picks were sitting at 29-25-1 going into Saturday, and I didn’t do much to help my record. Here are the picks for those who may have forgotten:

Wisconsin (-7.5) vs. Michigan: WIN

Miami (-19) vs. Virginia: LOSS

TCU (-7) vs. Texas Tech: WIN

Mississippi State (-12) vs. Arkansas: LOSS

Michigan State (-16) vs. Maryland: LOSS

Now we’re sitting at 31-28-1. It’s not exactly glamorous, but our heads are still above water. It’d take a really bad Saturday next weekend for this thing to get derailed before the end of the season.

It’s also classic for Arkansas to screw me out of money. It’s like Bielema’s little way of getting back at me for destroying his coaching career. This happens on a regular basis. Once in college, Arkansas and Bielema blew a $10,000 parlay for me as the last game on the card. Apparently that karma just keeps carrying over.

Anyways, we’ve got one weekend of the regular season left, and I’ll do my absolute best to carry you guys across the finish line. We might cross the finish line battered and bruised, but we’re crossing that damn line above .500 one way or another.
