Chip Kelly didn’t sound too excited about the Florida Gators football coach opening.

Kelly discussed the potential job over the weekend while making a regular ESPN appearance, and enthusiastic isn’t how I’d describe his demeanor at all.

“I really enjoy what I’m doing now. I think Florida is an outstanding job…who ever gets that job would be really lucky,” Kelly said monotone.

Kelly is absolutely going to get lots of feelers this offseason, but I don’t expect him to take any jobs if that’s how little he seems to care. It’s really too bad because the guy’s spread offense at Oregon was pure electricity. There wasn’t anything more exciting on the offensive side of the ball during his time with the Ducks.

However, maybe he decided to call it quits and enjoy his life as an ESPN commentator. Only time will tell where his heads at. Hopefully he’s back on a college sideline before too long.
