Brock Osweiler’s return as the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos didn’t last long.

ESPN’s Dan Graziano reported Tuesday that Osweiler has been yanked from the starting lineup in favor of Paxton Lynch. The former Arizona State star threw for 683 yards and three touchdowns in three starts this year for Denver.

It’s so sad that we didn’t get more of Brock Osweiler. He just can’t seem to catch a break. Leaves the Broncos for a big contract in Houston, gets traded to Cleveland, gets cut and then returns to Denver. It’s borderline poetic.

Osweiler had so much hype when he first left Denver. He signed a $72 million contract, and next thing you know he’s back in Denver as a backup. Has any quarterback been through more ups and downs in their career than him? I don’t think so, but at least he made a bit of money.
