Melania Trump greeted children of military members at the White House Monday for the unveiling of the 2017 Christmas decorations.

The first lady walked in to the East Room in a gorgeous vanilla dress with a gold belt around her waist, as one of the children was overheard asking, “Are you the first lady?”

“She seriously looks like an angel,” another child exclaimed when they saw Trump during the Christmas event. (RELATED: Bae-Jing! Melania Rocks Asia With These Stunning Looks [SLIDESHOW])

“The President, Barron, and I are very excited for our first Christmas in the White House,” Trump shared.  “As with many families across the country, holiday traditions are very important to us. I hope when visiting the People’s House this year, visitors will get a sense of being home for the holidays.  On behalf of my husband and Barron, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and joyous holiday season.”
