Speculation is already swirling that Floyd Mayweather might not have officially hung it up after his bout with Conor McGregor.

TMZ reported the following Monday morning:

Floyd Mayweather has been telling people close to him that he’s considering a 51st fight — and he’s been training like a maniac in the gym … but we’re told there has been NO official movement … yet.

Here’s the deal … people close to Floyd say he’s still in fighting shape and ready to go. He even posted video training in his Vegas gym. We’re told he’s been kicking around the idea of another comeback.

We shouldn’t be surprised that Mayweather is contemplating coming out of retirement, especially for a rematch against McGregor. Who wouldn’t do one more fight for an extra $100 million at a minimum?

The first fight between McGregor and Mayweather was awesome. It went ten rounds, which was way more than people initially thought it’d go. Some experts didn’t even think McGregor would last more than a couple rounds.

The legendary boxer made a minimum of $100 million for that fight in August, and we all know Mayweather loves money. Seems to make perfect sense for him to do it again. Looks like it’s time to get the hype train started.
