President Donald Trump went on a short retweet spree Wednesday, sharing videos purporting to show Muslims beating up innocent civilians and desecrating Christian icons.
In three retweets from his personal Twitter account @realDonaldTrump, the president shared videos from an account associated with Jayda Fransen, leader of the Britain First party.
The original tweets from the account @JaydaBF came from late Tuesday night, and all three were shared by the president.

In one of the more disturbing videos that the president shared, an “Islamist mob pushes teenage boy off roof and beats him to death,” according to the tweet.

That video comes from 2013 riots in Egypt following the coup that removed Mohamed Morsi from power. Three young men were hiding from Muslim Brotherhood supporters of Morsi on a rooftop, when several men found them, pushed some of them off a ledge, and continued to beat them. One boy, 19 year old, Hamada Badr, died, according to the Daily Mail.
The boys father, Mohammed Badr, said his son was killed because “the Brotherhood waged a war against whoever was celebrating Morsi’s departure…All he was guilty of was that he was on the roof of the building, celebrating the ousting of Morsi.”
There are many other short videos on the account linked to Frasen that Trump did not share, and the operator of the Britain First twitter handle was ecstatic at the retweets from Trump.

It’s unclear whether Frasen, 31, who is deputy leader of the Britain First party, is currently running the account. Frasen was arrested in London by Irish police Nov. 19 for “threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior” displayed at a rally in Belfast, Ireland, in August.
The White House did not immediately return The Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
