UFC president Dana White has zero interest in seeing Ronda Rousey fight again.
“I wouldn’t want to see it. I don’t want it to have to happen. I care about her, and she’s got enough money. She’s got enough money and all of that stuff. I don’t want to see it happen,” White recently told MMA Junkie about the possibility of a return. (SLIDESHOW: These Are The Greatest Ronda Rousey Photos On The Internet)
He also added, “If you look at Ronda Rousey, where she is now in her life, she accomplished everything she wanted to accomplish. And now she wants to have a life – like a personal life – and enjoy all the hard work she put in…She’s achieved everything she’s wanted to do, she’s made a sh*tload of money, and now she actually wants to have a life.” (SLIDESHOW: These Are The Sexiest Paige VanZant Photos On The Internet)
I have to agree with White here. Rousey has lost two in a row, and both of them were absolutely devastating. I would hate to see her fall again. Her legacy, and I think it ultimately will be, should be remembered as the woman who built the UFC’s women’s division and audience. (SLIDESHOW: These UFC Women Really Hate Wearing Clothes)
Hopefully she goes forward to have a happy life that is full of other great opportunities. She’s certainly earned it.
