ESPN’s Stephen Smith thinks that being rich is now a burden for black athletes and more on the latest episode of “Today In Media.”

Watch:

Morning Joe’s senior contributor Mike Barnicle says that President Trump lives in his own universe.

“He has created his own universe, and he believes everything that he says that he is a part of his own universe,” Barnicle says.

Fox News’ Juan Williams said that President Trump “finds it very valuable politically to attack people of color in this country and he does so and he says, ‘I’m not racist.'”

However, the president is known for his twitter shoutouts to anyone despite their race, from Kim Jong Un as “Rocket Man” to Sens. Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi as “Chuck and Nancy” to Sen. Elizabeth Warren as “Pocahontas.”

The Hill recently tweeted a completely false tweet, stating, “Scarborough: Trump and Moore are ‘bringing out my inner liberal,'” to which even Scarborough tweeted about, saying he never said that. In fact, Mika Brzezinski originally read the Bill Kristol tweet that stated “bringing out my inner liberal,” not Scarborough. The Hill later amended their original article to state that the information originally included was inaccurate.

ESPN’s Stephen Smith also made ridiculous comments, saying that, “If we’re being honest, the black athlete has it pretty rough, not just in spite of the money, but actually because of it.”

The number one most foolish take from the media today was the Twitter account for the The New York Times Opinion section tweeting out the numbers of senators, telling its audience to call them and tell them to vote against the upcoming tax reform bill.

The bio for the Times’ opinion twitter account read, “The NYT Editorial Board is temporarily taking over this acct. to urge the Senate to reject a tax bill that hurts the middle class and the nation’s fiscal health.”

Who will have the craziest media take next? Watch the next episode of “Today In Media” to find out!
