A new report indicates that CNN president Jeff Zucker may have known about sexual misconduct allegations against NBC’s Matt Lauer while he was at NBC News.

Zucker currently heads CNN, but previously served as CEO of NBC and was President and CEO of NBC Universal.

A report from PageSix cites an “NBC insider” who said that Zucker and former NBC News president Steve Capus “got the complaints” about Matt Lauer.

The PageSix report also cites a “Today show staffer who said, ‘Everybody at NBC knew about Matt Lauer’s sexually inappropriate behavior–and knew not to talk about it’.”

News broke Wednesday of sexual assault allegations against Matt Lauer. He allegedly sexually assaulted a staffer at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. (RELATED: Report: Lauer Sexually Assaulted Staffer At The Olympics)

Lauer was fired the same day for his alleged behavior. (RELATED: Matt Lauer Fired From NBC News After Inappropriate Sexual Conduct Complaint [VIDEO])
