A woman is suing Bill O’Reilly for allegedly violating a settlement agreement in a sexual harassment case by badmouthing her to the press, according to a lawsuit filed Monday.

Rachel Witlieb Bernstein, a former junior producer of Fox News and an alleged victim of O’Reilly, claims the former host of the “O’Reilly Factor” violated their settlement agreement in a harassment case by telling media outlets that she was a liar and an extortionist, The Washington Post reported. Berstein’s attorney filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against O’Reilly and Fox News for breach of contract and defamation.

“He’s gone far beyond that and painted our client in a terrible light,” lawyer Neil Mullin told WaPo, claiming that O’Reilly violated the 2002 settlement case by implying that Bernstein’s claims were politically motivated, Variety reported.

Fox News ended its association with O’Reilly in April due to sexual harassment allegations against the TV host and commentator. While O’Reilly has denied all sexual harassment allegations, he allegedly entered five secret settlements with victims, according to The New York Times.
