WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Daily Caller News Foundation covered a protest in front of The White House Sunday where a group of Antifa members clashed with a group of White Nationalists in a must-watch episode the of the show “Protester Gameday.”

Two DCNF reporters heard about the planned protest, which well-known white nationalist Richard Spencer advertised on Twitter. Local Antifa members heard about Spencer’s protest and created a counter-protest to stand up to the white nationalists.

WATCH:

Spencer named his protest, “Build Kate’s Wall,” in reference to the death of Kate Steinle, who was killed by an illegal immigrant but not charged with the murder. The illegal immigrant had previously been deported five times before murdering 32-year-old Steinle. The group of white nationalists had signs which read “Build Kate’s Wall” and were calling for President Donald Trump to build a physical border wall on the border of Mexico and the U.S.

Police put a physical barrier up between the two groups and also formed a line in front of the barrier, preventing any violence to occur. Both groups continued to shout at each other for a little over an hour, until Spencer and the other White Nationalists left.

When asked by TheDCNF where the group was going, Spencer responded sarcastically saying, “Disneyland.”

Don’t miss “Protester Gameday” where Henry Rodgers and Phillip Stucky will continue to cover any and all protests of interest live and on the ground for TheDCNF.
